Sheila passed away peacefully in her sleep on her own terms, surrounded by her family in her home in Merrimac, Mass, of COPD, which was caused by a neurological disorder known as Charcot-Marie Tooth Disease. She graduated from Nashua Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1959, at the top of her class. Sheila was married to the late Edward Hatch in 1961. Edward, the love of her life, nurse. Sheila retired from nursing in 2002 after having been an RN at the Dr. Paul Nettle School for 17 years. She was married to Edward Hatch for almost 51 years. They had four sons; David, Paul, Peter and Christopher. Her two granddaughters Carli and Ruby were her pride and joy. She was one of the strongest people around to have endured the sickness that she went through during the last year of her life. Sheila was seventy-three at the time of her death and was well known and liked by many. |
