About | SOUTH HADLEY - Jo-Ann (Martin) Miller was called to her Eternal Home from Holyoke Medical Center on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 after a gallant battle with cancer. She is the daughter of the late Stanley Martin and Joan (Weidaas) Martin. She was born and raised in Holyoke. Jo-Ann graduated from Holyoke High School, was a longtime employee of the Willimansett Nursing Home, and was most recently employeed as an occupational therapist at Heritage Hall in Agawam. She was a longtime and actively involved member of the First Lutheran Church in Holyoke. Jo-Ann is survived by her husband of 28 years, Raymond Miller of South Hadley, her brothers, Frederick, Jeffrey, Steven and his wife Carmen Martin, Aaron Kivior, her two nephews, Fred Jr. and William, her niece, Hallie, and her Godchild, Bethany Roberts. Jo-Ann enjoyed crafts and family gatherings; she was always a determined and caring person with a great sense of humor. Jo-Ann was a loving friend and family member. Her family would like to thank the staff of Holyoke Medical Center, 3rd Floor East, for their loving care and attention given to Jo-Ann during the past months.
