About | Cheryl Ann (Debano) Schuessler, 56, of Wellston, died Monday, January 4, 2016, at her home with her family by her side. She was born July 2, 1959, the daughter of Michael and Marie Debano. A passionate public health educator and former 911 director, Cheryl committed her life to helping others. She has been described by many as one of the strongest and most courageous people they have ever met. Cheryl was a leader, an innovator, and a tireless advocate. She took pride in her local community and always sought ways to continually strengthen local resources to help meet neighbors’ needs. While her life was cut far too short due to an ongoing battle with cancer, the people impacted by Cheryl’s generous heart, warm spirit, and inspiring energy will forever be changed by her. Cheryl is survived by: her daughter, Adrian (Alex Edwards) Griffin of Cleveland, Ohio; her husband, Kevin Schuessler, of Wellston, and his children, Heather, Adam, and Dustin; her mother, Marie Debano of Marysville; 9 siblings; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
