| About | Daniel Socia Obituary Socia, Daniel J. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Socia died suddenly Wednesday morning, October 22, 2003 at his home, age 52 years. Son of the late John & Margaret (Eurick) Socia, he was born December 4, 1950 in Bay City where he has lived all of his life. He married the former Deborah J. Richards April 27, 1974 she survives him. Mr. Socia worked at Grey Iron Foundry for over 31 years before retiring in 2001. Dan was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, St. Stan's A.C., Life Member of the Bay City Bowling Association, a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association where he officiated for over 25 years, an avid golfer and loved being a grandpa. Surviving besides his wife Debbie he leaves two sons, Darryl Socia and special friend, M.J. Bethke, Gerald (Chrissy) Socia; four grandchildren: Billi Jo, Jordan, Cameron and Natalie. |
