About | Anna F. Crain, 44, of Charlevoix, died June 8, 1993, at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Fri- day, June 11, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Charlevoix. The Rev. Thomas Neis will officiate, and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Charlevoix. She was born Dec. 6, 1948, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Bayliss) Kortan. She graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1967. On Feb. 14, 1969, she married Michael G. Crain and he survives. Mrs. Crain was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Altar Society. She was a Rainbow Shoppe volunteer, and a member of the Show Your Colors support group in Petoskey. Mrs. Crain loved to bake and design cakes. She is survived by her husband, Michael G.; two sons, Scott M. Crain of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Corey J. Crain of Charlevoix; one daughter, Shelly A. Crain of Charlevoix; one grandson, Cameron Crain of Charlevoix; a half sister, Barbara Lambert of Fort Myers, Fla.; and her father-in-law, Glenn L. Crain of Charlevoix. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph in 1987, and a half brother, Richard Bayliss in 1981. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School or to Charlevoix Area Hospital.
