| About | Barbara Jean Hilyard, age 83 of Clare, died peacefully at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Clare on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Loving mother of Denise (Tom) Bouchey of Clare, Nate (Cheryl) Cameron of Indian River, and Alec (Sheri) Cameron of Ft. Worth, TX. Proud grandmother of Jon (Kendra) Bouchey, Jack (Liz) Bouchey, Stacy Cameron, Alecia (Gregg) Gonzales, Aaron (La ‘Nyce) Cameron, and proud great grandmother of four. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Curt Hilyard, and her two brothers Bill and Walt Poquette. Barbara was born in Charlevoix; a graduate of Charlevoix High School and a graduate of Ferris State College Cosmetology. Barbara loved quilting, crocheting, canning and completing puzzles. Visitation and services will be held at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
