About | Clair Tillotson Rites Tuesday Services for Clair (Nelson) Tillotson, 38, who died unexpectedly at his home, 401 Mason St., Charlevoix Saturday, will be held at the Pontius Chapel at 2 p. m. Tuesday. Rev. Harold E. Kohn will be in charge and burial will follow in Brookside cemetery. He was born in Charlevoix Oct. 20, 1916, and was graduated from Charlevoix high school. He served several years in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a factory worker and a drug clerk, working at the Brock-Eckel Pharmacy in Petoskey for about 10 years. He went to St. Clair a few years ago, then returned to Charlelevoix in 1953. He was a member of the Petoskey Elks Club and the Congregational church of Charlevoix. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Nelson A. Tillotson of Charlevoix; two sisters Mrs. Lila Wieting of Grand Rapids and Mrs. John LaRue of Saline, Mich.; a brother Donald of Ft. Dodge, Iowa. |
