About | Gregory Grubaugh Gregory Steven Grubaugh of Taylor and Charlevoix, Michigan, left this world on September 6, 2017, at the age of 58 following a brief illness. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Clegg and united in marriage on October 6, 2001, after many years as life partners. Born November 28, 1958, in Charlevoix, to Joane (Crump) and Jack Grubaugh. Graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1977, attended Ferris State University and Lake Superior University in Criminal Justice and Davenport University with an Advanced Emergency Technology license. He worked with the Charlevoix County Sheriff's programs and Charlevoix Area Hospital. He worked as a medical sales representative for twenty plus years for Impact Ventilator Corp., travelling extensively across the continental United States, and most recently associated with the Lincare Co. Greg will be remembered for his love of hunting turkey and deer and fishing on Lake Charlevoix, and his great smile and contagious laughter. He will also be remembered by those in sports at CHS as "Cramer", their sports medicine trainer. Greg is survived by his dear wife, Jacqueline Clegg; mother, Joane Grubaugh; sisters, Pamela Grubaugh and Diane (Ronald) Chapman; mother-in-law, Marie Emmons; step-sons, Matthew and Jonathan Clegg, niece, Melissa (Bryan) Jarema, nephew, Corey (Michelle) Knapp, and grand-nephew and niece, Grant and Clare Jarema, dear family friend, Pamela Smith, and numerous aunts and cousins. Greg was sadly preceded in death by his father, Jack, on March 9, 2016. A graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery, on September 18 at 11 am.
