| About | EARLS, HELEN 4/2/1941-7/12/2018 Pentwater Helen Marie Earls, 77 of Pentwater MI, loving wife, mother and grandmother lost her brief battle with cancer on July 12, 2018. Helen was born April 2nd 1941 in Charlevoix, MI to William and Ruth Schwab. Helen graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1959 and went on to attend Davenport Business College in Grand Rapids, MI. Helen loved to read, knit and crochet. She enjoyed the beaches and the view from her deck on Pentwater Lake and the Venetian Festival in Charlevoix every summer. Helen will be missed by her husband Boyd Earls of Pentwater, her children, Kim Kaines of Ludington, Ken (Ellen) Kaines of Holland, MI and Scott (Sarah) Berry of Ravenna, MI. Stepchildren Jodi Earls and Lori Earls of Gardner, KS, Bill Earls of Muskegon, MI and Bobby Earls of Lansing, MI Her grandchildren Aiden and Evan Berry of Ravenna, MI and Jasper Earls and Storm Frazier of Gardner, KS. Her sister, Barbara Lundholm of Charlevoix, MI and nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held, Saturday, July 21st from 1-4pm at her home, 122 Chester St., Pentwater, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington, MI. |
