Kimberly Mae Mitchell Revoir, 51, of Cape Coral, Fla., and formerly of Topinabee, passed away on Sept. 13, 2013, at her home. No memorial services are scheduled at this time. She was born on Aug. 13, 1962, in Alhambra, Calif., to Dick and June Mitchell. She grew up in Charlevoix, graduating from Charlevoix High School in 1980. Kim moved to Topinabee and worked at Christopher's Restaurant where she met Jack Barnhill. She loved and was fascinated by all living creatures including a salamander she named George and her dogs Shelby and Murphy. She enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, computer games and wrote beautiful poetry. She is survived by her parents Dick and June Mitchell; partner and loving companion Jack Barnhill; sisters Tamyra (Randy Wells) Mitchell, Chris (Larry) Nunemaker, Jackie Mitchell; auntie Vi (Bill) Sloan, uncle Bob (Kathy) Mitchell; longtime good friend Bill Marlow. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheboygan County Humane Society or animal shelter of choice. |
