| About | Lynette M. (Mayne) Holtz, 46, of Desoto, Texas, died July 8, 1990, at Methodist Central Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at St. Mary's Church, Charlevoix. The Rev. James Gardiner will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Charlevoix. The former Lynette M. Mayne was born Jan. 20, 1944, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Hugh and Catherine (Smith) Mayne. She was a 1961 graduate of Charlevoix High School and a 1966 graduate of Ferris State College School of Pharmacy. She worked at Central Drug Store in Charlevoix during her years in college. She was head of the pharmacy department at Zeiger Osteopathic Hospital in Detroit for more than 10 years. On April 22, 1976, she married Russell Holtz in Charlevoix. For the past two years they have resided in Desoto, Texas. Mrs. Holtz is survived by her husband; one daughter, Laura and one son, Andrew, both of Desoto, Texas; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Mayne of Charlevoix; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Roberta) Albright of San Diego, Calif. The family suggests memorials to the March of Dimes. Envelopes for that purpose are available at the Winchester Funeral Home where visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11. |
