About | Rosemary Ann Bean, 74, of Charlevoix, passed away peacefully into the arms of God, Friday May 6, 2022 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born on May 13, 1947 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Floyd and Delores (Strohschein) McCracken. Rosemary graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1965. She raised three children, while also working extremely hard. She co-owned and operated Dream Haven – which was a miniatures shop outside of Charlevoix – and was a talented writer. She wrote and published a book titled “Lost and Lonely,” something she was very proud of. She was an active member of East Jordan Evangelical Church for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and sitting by the lake in the summertime. Rosemary is survived by her three children, Dwayne (Sandra) Bean of Charlevoix, Jennifer Klein of Charlevoix, and Michael Bean of Charlevoix; her brother Timothy (Georgia) McCracken of Charlevoix; her sister Susan Hyson; and a gaggle of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Margaret Martin. Rosemary’s family will celebrate her life privately. Arrangements are in the care of the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. |
