About | Shirley Ann Wilbur, 90, of Kalamazoo, Michigan went to be with her Lord and Savior March 17, 2022. She was born in Charlevoix, Michigan on October 19, 1931, the daughter of Floyd and Mary (Gates) Black. On August 13, 1953 she was united in marriage to Edward Peyton Wilbur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Peyton, a son, Edward James, and a daughter, Lisa Ann. Surviving are two sons, Robert (Denise) Wilbur of Ada, Michigan and William (Greta) Wilbur of Kalamazoo; five grandchildren, Savannah, Mckinzie, Elisabeth, Jessica (Scott) Holbrook, Victoria and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Hendrik Holbrook. She is also survived by two sisters, Jean Drenth and Mary Lou Johnson. Shirley was a graduate of Charlevoix High School and Parsons Business College. She was employed by Western Michigan University until her retirement. Shirley enjoyed golf and her Florida home during the winter months. She was a member of Third Christian Reformed Church of Kalamazoo. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Third Christian Reformed Church of Kalamazoo, 2400 Winchell Ave. with Rev. Zeyl officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Centrica Care Navigators or Park Village Pines.
