William P. Trost, 28, of Charlevoix, died July 19, 1988, at Charlevoix Area Hospital. Funeral mass was held Thurs- day, July 21, at St. Mary's Church, Charlevoix. The Rev. James K. Gardiner officiated and burial was in St. Marys Cemetery, Charlevoix. Mr. Trost was born Feb. 21, 1960, in Manitowoc, Wis., the son of Robert W. and Dorothy Mae (Wichlacz) Trost. At age 7, he moved to Charlevoix with his parents and attended Charlevoix schools. He graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1979.Mr. Trost worked for McLelland Home Furnishings in Charlevoix for the past 11 years. He was a member of the Pierre de Charlevoix Council, Knights of Columbus, and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Charlevoix. Survivors include: his parents; three sisters, Betty Jane Klooster of Charlevoix, Lynne Marie VandenAkker Jr. of Traverse City and Lori Ann Trost of Charlevoix; one brother, Donald R. Trost of Boca Raton, Fla.; his grandmother, Frances Wichlacz of Manitowoc, Wis., and godparents, LaVonne and Roger Trost of Manitowoc, Wis. The family suggests memorials to Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital. |
