About |
Peel was a longtime educator at Farmington high school, teaching English and Journalism. He was the faculty advisor for the staff of the Blue and White newspaper. Finer details of Peel's life and career are scant though it's known that he lived alone in a small Greek Revival home on Shiawassee st. in downtown Farmington and was also a published author. The Farmington pictorial history and "Speak Easy, Read, Write" were among the titles in his portfolio. At the time of this note (2/15/08) he will have been gone for approximately 2 years, having passed away at an extended care facility in Chelsea, MI specializing in the treatment of patients with Alzheimer's Disease. |
