| About | TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — An 83-year-old bicyclist was killed in a crash in Pasco County on Sunday. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 11 a.m. on the Withlacoochee State Trail at Trilby Road, which is north of Dade City. The bicyclist passed a stop sign on the bike trail and entered the intersection, according to FHP. The bicycle hit the front right portion of an oncoming Honda Odyssey, driven by a 20-year-old Dade City woman. The bicyclist, who is from Zephyrhills, was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. |
