About | Marty Brown, 73, of Buckner, MO, suddenly returned to our Heavenly Father on October 30, 2015. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., November 6, 2015, at Buckner Hill Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Buckner Restoration Branch. Marty was born on April 13, 1942, in Charlotte, MI, to Albert and Eunice (Plumb) Stanke. She moved to the Buckner area after her marriage to E.J. Brown over 45 years ago. From birth, Marty was a passionate churchgoer. She was an integral member at the Buckner Restoration Branch. Marty along with her husband owned and operated E&J Specialty Contractor for over 25 years. She was born with a true servant's heart. She shared her heart and soul with everyone that she met. Marty was a mother to many, and went out of her way to do for others, always putting herself last. Survivors include: husband E.J. Brown; daughters Beth Brown-Guiot (Joe), Courtney Farrell (Jason), son Chad Brown (Amanda); and Amy Portz (Kenny); grandchildren Reagan Guiot, Timothy Farrell, Maggie Farrell, Clare Brown, Jack Brown, and Mason Brown; sisters Joy Lott and Carolyn Kibbey; brothers Douglas Stanke and Robert Stanke; numerous nieces, nephews, and a very large extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marjorie Nemeth, and brother Alvin Stanke. |
