| About | Mark passed away quietly on October 21, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice. He had a major stroke on March 8, 2007 and later discovered metastatic cancer of the prostate may have contributed to the stroke. Mark graduated from Albion College in 1975 with a major in Organic Chemistry. He then went to UCLA where he received his PhD in Organic Chemistry. Mark worked for the Upjohn Company as a Research Scientist from 1979 - 2004. Due to the downsizing he retired and returned to work for Pfizer in 2006. Mark and his former wife, Laura Rothrock, have 4 sons (all Loy Norrix graduates) Brian '96, Eric '99, Andrew '01 and Jeff '05. |
