About | Jacob Jay Totten, 27, of Rosebush passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at his home. Funeral services for Jacob will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 1 p.m. from Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. Greg Buchner officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund, Community Cancer Services or Hospice of Mid Michigan. Envelopes will be available at Clark Funeral Chapel. Jacob was born on December 15, 1977 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Rodney and Lou Ann (Miller) Totten. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1996. Jacob worked at Soaring Eagle Casino, Sundberg Landscaping and most recently owned and operated Rosebush County Market. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, reading and mechanical work. Jacob is survived by his fiancee', Jillian Prout and her extended family; parents, Rodney and Lou Ann Totten of Rosebush; grandparents, Albert C. Miller of Rosebush and Shirley E. Totten of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Johnna Totten of Mt. Pleasant; aunts and uncles, Richard (Penny) Totten of Escanaba, Rohnna (Steve) Bridget of Mt. Pleasant, Becky (Jim) Haught of Mt. Pleasant, Robin (Steve) Sargent of Mt. Pleasant, Rhea (Chuck) Lewis of Coleman, Gene (Linda) Miller of Charlotte, Donna (Kim) Cloud of Walhalla and Lola Miller of Clare; many cousins and his dog, Tim. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnie Totten of Mt. Pleasant and grandmother, Clarabel Miller of Rosebush.
