About | Obiturary from Oscoda Press Roy Henry Liddle of Fairfield Glade, Tenn. and a former assistant Oscoda Area High School principal, died May 28, 1998 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was 66, born December 28, 1931 in Detroit, Mich. to Ernest and Gertrude (Hill) Liddle. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Dely Liddle of Fairfield Glade; four daughters, Brenda Haag of Alpena, Mich., Janet Chrysley of Bridgeton, Mo., Elizabeth Haynes of Plant City, Fla. and Sandra Workman of Moline, Ill.; a son, Mark Liddle of Oscoda; and 10 grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Robert Liddle of Plymouth, Mich. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Liddle. Memorial services were conducted Tuesday from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, Tenn. for Mr. Liddle who was of the Protestant faith. |
