Survived by his loving son, Dan Gretzner, II (Bon-nie); and granddaughters, Jordan and Hannah; sister, Susan (Chuck) Graham; nieces and nephews, Christine Hagen, Jim (Kelly) Hagen, Emily, Olivia, Hunter, Layla and Gunner. Preceded in death by his father, Edward; mother, Maxine; and brother, Ronald. Services were Tuesday at J.L. Peters Funeral Home, 3880 Fort St., Lincoln Park, Michigan. (313)928-6500. Dan was a spiritual man who loved family, friends, fishing, Ford and fun. He was a proud 1960 Wyandotte High alumni and 34-year employee of Ford Motor Company before retiring in 2000. For parts of five decades, Dan captured historical sports events and celebrations as a newspaper writer for the Wyandotte Tribune and Dearborn Press and as a columnist/photographer for the Downriver Review and Dearborn Times Herald, featuring his "Focus on Sports" column.
