About | February 8th, 2012 | Posted in Pahrump Donald G. Hasselbach, 69, passed away Feb. 1, 2012, in Columbus, Ga. He was born March 1, 1942, in Wyandotte, Mich., and was a resident of Pahrump for 11 years, having come from Las Vegas. He was a parts manager for Saitta-Trudeau. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 to 1965, and served in Vietnam. He loved working in his yard on weekends and spending time with his grandchildren. Don was an amazing person who always had a smile on his face. He loved his job and loved his friends and family. He moved to the desert in 1965 and had found his home. He loved working for the parts industry and made many friends over the years. He will be dearly missed. Surviving are his children Donald Hasselbach Jr., Robert Hasselbach, Dawn Hasselbach, Jennifer Hewitt and Eric Ames; sister Ruth Chenier and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents George M. and Elaine M. Hasselbach; and sister Gail Cart-wright, and Ruth Clenier. Services will be at 7 p.m., Feb. 8 at Lee Funeral Home Chapel.
