Thomas William Stark of Ringgold died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 in DeSota, Miss. He was 69. He had been a resident of North Georgia for six years, coming from Trenton, Mich. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. He was retired from Detroit Edison Power Co. after 18 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Mae Wall Stark; parents, John and Dora Stark; brother, John Carlos Stark; daughter, Sheryll Lynn Stark. Survivors include son, John Thomas Stark of Salem, Ala.; daughters, Cynthia Ann Stark of Chattanooga, Tenn., Susan Lynnette Davies of Manchester, Tenn.; sister, Juanita Ball of St. Paul, Minn.; nine grandchildren. Services: Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 12:30 p.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Henson officiating. Burial: National Cemetery. Visitation: Monday, Aug. 13, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
