About | CAMERON ARCHER WILLIAMS DICKERSON, age 17, of Jasper, passed away, Sunday, September 7, 2008, at Bixby Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1990, in Adrian, to Charles A. and Rosemary A. (Williams) Dickerson. Cameron was a senior at Sand Creek High School. He was a member of the Fairfield 4-H for the last 10 years, where he took beef cattle to the fair, a cart goat, poultry and especially ducks and geese. Cameron was also a member of Hope Lutheran Church, the Sand Creek FFA and the Sand Creek Band where he played the Tuba. He performed in the Siena Heights youth drama plays every year since the first grade. Having major roles the last few years. He dearly enjoyed hunting with his Uncle Ralph. Cameron was planning to be a semi-truck driver following graduation and he wanted to restore his grandpa’s Oliver 88 Row Crop. He loved Country Music and going to dances. Cameron was a happy, handsome, funny young man, who had a big heart. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Lucas Dickerson and his wife, Samantha and their children, Avery and Natalie of Sand Creek, Eli Dickerson and his girlfriend, Tammy Gray of Jasper and Zane Dickerson of Jasper; several aunts, uncles and cousins; several special friends from 4-H and school; and his dog, Gus. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Archie and Eldena Dickerson and Bob and Magda Williams. Funeral services for Cameron will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Reverend Paul Herter officiating. Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
