| About | Today, October 16, 2008, 15 hours ago | GateHouse Media, Inc. Michael Stephen Bill, age 35, of Clayton passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at the Toledo University Hospital. He was born June 22, 1973, in Morenci, to Willie Bill, Jr. and Juanita DeHoyos. He was a 1991 graduate of Sand Creek High School and he attended the University of Texas at Austin and Jackson Community College. Michael was a UPS Driver for 16 years. Currently he was employed by Clayton Lumber. He loved to hunt, fish, and work on cars. He was especially proud of his 1969 Camaro and his 1973 Corvette. He loved his family, friends and life. He also enjoyed the rodeo, flying and sky diving. Michael is survived by his mother, Juanita DeHoyos of Austin, Texas; his father, Willie Bill, Jr. of Sand Creek; one brother, Christopher Bill and Stacey Miles of Morenci; his grandparents, Willie Bill, Sr., and his wife, Lupe, of Sand Creek; aunts and uncles, Raymond and Marge Bill of Tecumseh, Frank, Joe and Louie Bill, Andy and Sue Bill, and Tina Bill, all of Sand Creek, Phil and Minni Bill of Manitou Beach, Anita and Paul Lanczki of Adrian, Pete and Charlot DeHoyos of Giddings, Texas, Lucia Brooks and Lisa and Marcelo Flores, all of Uvalde, Texas, Vickie DeHoyos of Kingsville, Texas, and Esperanza Wilder of Columbia, S.C. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Carmen DeHoyos. The funeral liturgy for Michael will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Bob Schramm as celebrant. Interment will be in Sand Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, where a Vigil Prayer Service will be offered at 7 p.m. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralhomeadriantecumseh.com.
