About | Funeral services for Tip Wagoner, age 52, of Albert Lea will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at the Church of St. Theodore. Father Robert Schneider will officiate. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Austin. Military honors will be accorded by the area Veteran s organizations. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services at the Church. Tip died Thursday, April 1, 2004, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1952, to Enos and Luella Wagoner in Albert Lea. He grew up in Mapleview and attended Austin High School, graduating in 1971. Tip attended Vo-Tech for four years in Auto Body and Mechanics. He served in the United States Army, from 1973 to 1975. He moved to Albert Lea in 1984 and attended the Church of St. Theodore. He was a production manager at Ring Can Corp. Tip enjoyed hunting and fishing, building and riding motorcycles, and working on cars. He was able to build and work on anything. Tip belonged to Hog Club and A.B.A.T.E. Bike Club. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer and her husband Phil Coolidge and their children, Stephan, Jayden, and Alec of Rochester; sons: Randy Wagoner and his children, Drake and Tori of Austin, Robert Wagoner of Maple Grove, and Jerod and his wife Sara Wagoner and their children Zhek and Jo of Rochester; sister, Starr and her husband Tom Holt and their children, Mark, Tamarae, and Maranda of Albert Lea; brothers, Big Jim and his wife, Nesta and children, Jason, Jenne, Lacie, and Jade of Sargent and Little Jim and his wife Brenda and their sons, Brandon and Alan of Kasson; special friend, Marilyn Storby of Lake Mills, Iowa; and former wife, Mary Wagoner of Austin. Tip was preceded in death his parents and brothers, Stafford and Jerry. |
