About | Nancy Elaine Haskin left this life and went to be with the Lord on Jan. 15, 2019. She was born in Austin, Minnesota on Sept. 10, 1952. Nancy had a life-long career with the Austin Public School District. She worked in many various capacities and retired as an administrative assistant. She moved to Lake Havasu City in 2007. She loved the Lord and had a heart for service. She was on the First Impressions Team at Calvary Baptist Church and greeted thousands of people with her beautiful smile. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, bunco, Life Group, going out to eat with the neighbors, motorcycle riding and spending time with her family. She loved to color Mandela's. She treasured spending time with her nephews and nieces and their children. She was also a past member of the Havasu Art Guild. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; Floyd and Mabel Stelter. She is survived by her sister; Sherry Broecher, nieces; Gina Atchison (Ryan), and Jessie Freitag (Brad), great-nephew; Curtis Wilson (Chey), great-nieces; Nicole Wilson (Chad), Alexis Gordon (Zach), and Brianna Prenosil, great-great-nephew; Callen Wilson, great-great-nieces; Chloe Wilson, Mia Neitzel, and Aria Walk, and her special life-long best friend; Jeff Haskin (Terry). A celebration of life will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, McCulloch campus, on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. |
