He is Survived by his mother, Sharon Schmit, Austin; his father and stepmother, Jack and Pam Schmit, Austin; a brother, Curtis Schmit; grandparents, Earl and Lucille Allen, Austin, Lawrence and Dorothy Schmit, Rose Creek; great-grandmother, Evelyn Hanson, Brownsdale; aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Steven J. Schmit, Route 5, Austin, will be held 3:30 P.M. at Clasen-Jordan Chapel with Rev. Frank Enright officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
