About | Steven Alan Juusola, 41, of Floodwood, died Friday, May 16, 2008 in St. Luke's Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1966 in Grand Rapids, Minn., to Emil and Bette (Boettcher) Juusola. He graduated from Floodwood High School in 1984 where he played on the basketball and football teams. Steven married Jamie Erickson on Feb 10, 1995 in Floodwood. Steven had worked as a logger for Kevin Sandstrom Logging, worked for Louhi Kivela Masonry for many years and currently was employed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) as a transportation generalist in the Floodwood District. Steven was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed camping and the outdoors and always included his two children in the adventures. He was preceded in death by his father, Emil in 1992 and his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Floyd Boettcher. He is survived by his wife, Jamie; son, Andrew; daughter, A'Livia both at home; his mother, Bette Juusola of Floodwood; three sisters, Linda (Bill) Broking of Grand Rapids, Cheryl (Tim Randall) Juusola of Cotton and Susan (Kerry) Heine of Floodwood; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friends, Kevin and Brian. VISITATION:12 noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in Hope Lutheran Church in Floodwood. Pastor Owen Christianson officiating. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home.
