About | Albert 'Al' John Ouradnik passed away at his home after a courageous battle with ALS on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the age of 61. Albert was born on August 4, 1963 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Paul and Anastasia (Kryzer) Ouradnik. He was raised in the Eagan area with his siblings and graduated from Henry Sibley High School. After graduation he attended Dakota County Technical College and quickly became an auto mechanic. Al joined Roadway Express, working as a dockman. Roadway then merged with Yellow Freight (YRC). Al worked there for almost 30 years until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Kellie Misner on March 18, 1995 in Bloomington, Minnesota. Albert was a loving husband and father. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors and at the family hunting shack. He was also an Osman Shriner. The Shriners are a fraternal organization dedicated to supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children through their fundraising efforts and community outreach programs. Albert has donated his body to the ALS Association for further research. "Al" will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Kellie; children, Alex, Ben (Lily Rodriguez), Jennifer, Aiden, and Hannah; siblings, Joseph, Mary Lucas, Richard (Kristen); "brother" Bill Connolly and Laura Ouradnik; his father-in-law Robert Misner and Maydelle; as well as his nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul & Ann, his older sister, Karen (Ed) Blau; and his mother-in-law, Darlene Misner. Visitation will be held for one hour from 10-11 AM at the church followed by A Celebration of Al's Life and Masonic Service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 29 at the Highview Christiania Lutheran Church, 26690 Highview Ave, Farmington, MN 55024.
