Age 52, of Mendota Heights, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on January 5th, 2015. Survived by her husband of 30 years, Evans 'Chip' Connelly; son, Evans 'Mick' (Carolyn) Connelly; son, Patrick Connelly; daughter, Catherine Connelly; parents, Beverly & Richard Lachenmayer; sister, Jane (Ron) Anderson; brother, John (Dianne) Lachenmayer; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She passionately lived as a loving wife, mother, partner in the community, and role model of the Catholic faith. Ann is best known for her infectious smile, quick laugh, radiating beauty, and warm embraces. Her favorite pastime was to golf with her family and friends. Born and raised in Mendota Heights, Ann graduated from Henry Sibley in '80 and the College of Saint Catherine in '84 with her degree in Quantitative Methods. While at St. Kate's she helped build their first VAX computer system in the corner of the library. She joined Control Data as a Project Manager, where she rose through the ranks; Ann was hired away at Access Management as a Director and finished her impressive 30-year career at Thompson Reuters as a Project Manager- Technology. We are so thankful for the doctors and staff at the U of M Masonic Cancer Clinic for their guidance, persistent support, and planning which enabled Ann to battle cancer successfully and discretely for 12+ years. A visitation will be on Thursday, January 8 at O'Halloran Murphy Funeral Home in St. Paul (651-698-0796) from 4-8pm. Funeral will be held at St. Joseph's Church in WSP on Friday, January 9 at 11am with a visitation at 10am; private interment at the cemetery. In lieu of gifts and flowers, we wish you to direct those gifts to the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Clinic. |
