| About | Anne Elizabeth Tremblay-Dufner, 51, of Hendersonville passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC. Mrs. Dufner was born May 18, 1965 in Washington, DC to Lawrence and Irma Tremblay. She was preceded in death by her mother. Anne graduated from UNCA in 1987 with a BA in Music and Theater. She was a true friend to all who knew her and she never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and wife with an incredible sense of humor. Anne was always able to enjoy the small things in life, which was one of her most admirable attributes. She was a ray of sunshine and her smiling face will never be forgotten. Anne was a member of Immaculate Conception RCC in Hendersonville. She is survived by her husband, Randall Dufner; daughter, Emily Tremblay; father, Lawrence Tremblay (Janice); brothers, Paul Tremblay (Iryna) and Thomas Tremblay (Kris); sisters, Mary Crouch and Janine Marchetti; two nephews and four nieces. A funeral service for Anne Elizabeth Tremblay-Dufner will be held at 2 PM Friday at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Hendersonville. A reception will follow the service.
