| About | Michelle R. Wood-Jensen, age 56, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Rochester, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. Michelle Renee Wood was born on Dec. 22, 1962, in Downy, Calif., to Robert F. and Darlene E. (Palmer) Wood. She graduated from Mayo High School in 1980. She continued her education at Winona State University and earned a master’s degree in business administration. On Dec. 22, 1984, her 22nd birthday, she married Danny Jensen at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester. Michelle worked at the Mayo Clinic for 34 years in Research Finance. They moved to Mesa, Ariz., in 2014, where she continued her work at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. Michelle had a wonderful sense of humor but also a serious side. She enjoyed going for rides and traveling. She was strong and courageous in her battle with breast cancer. Michelle will be deeply missed by her family and friends. |
