Lyle Curtis Larson, age 20, of Henrietta Township, Park Rapids died Wednesday September 08, 1971 at St Joseph's Hospital as a result of an automobile accident. Born May 11, 1951 in Park Rapids, he was the son of Alvin and Yvonne Larson. A graduate of Park Rapids High School , he was employed by Custom Laundry of Park Rapids. Surviving are his parents of Cape Coral, Florida, three sisters; Mrs. Gladys Landmark of Glenwood and Virginia and Diane of Cape Coral, Florida; five brothers, Bernard and Leonard of Minneapolis and Arnold, Ivan and Danny of Cape Coral, Florida. Maternal Grandparents Mr and Mrs Geoge Cooper of Park Rapids, aunts, Mrs. Rodney (Ruth) Rodeman of Park Rapids, Mrs. Glenn (Irene) Brumbaugh of Park Rapids and Mrs. Mike ( Veda) Klier of Minneapolis; Uncles, Wallace Cooper of Moses Lake, Washington, and Ingvold Larson of Butte, Montana and many cousins and friends. Preceding him in death was a brother Robert in 1948. Funeral services were held at 2PM Monday September 13, at Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids with the Rev, Raymond Lindholm officiating. Pianist, Mrs. Roger Henderson accompanied Mrs. Bernard Larson as she sang "If I gained the World" and " How About Your Heart" Interment was at Hennrietta Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry White, Martin Broten, Alfred Broten, Gene Brumbaugh, Gene Berthelot and Arthur Huewe. Arrangements were by Jones Funeral Home in Park Rapids, Minnesota. |
