About | Anna Marie Tanner was born September 1, 1946 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, to Louie and Marie (Wederath) Greene. She grew up on her parents’ farm and truly enjoyed farm life. Anna loved all animals, especially horses. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1964 and later studied art at the college in Marshall. While raising her young sons, Anna attended tech school in Granite Falls and earned a degree in computer electronics. After receiving her degree, she moved to Waseca where she worked for EF Johnson building CB radios. Anna moved back to Redwood Falls and worked for Jackpot for nearly 30 years. Her family was her passion and Anna always worked hard to provide a great life for her sons. She was an excellent seamstress and artist. She created many works of art out of pottery and paint, and sewed many dolls, crafts, clothes, and quilts. Anna loved watching comedies, Marvel, and Science Fiction movies. She also owned a motorcycle for several years and enjoyed riding. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved watching her grandsons in marching band. Anna is survived by her 5 sons: Danney Tanner, Clinton (Mindie) Tanner, Victor Tanner, Lon (Rhys) Tanner, and Erik Tanner; grandchildren: Danielle Karns, Clayton & Maclain Tanner, and Isaac Tanner; great-granddaughters: Emma, Ella, and Jasmine; 2 brothers: Jim Greene and Ronald (Lyna) Greene; and nephews: Ben, Chad, Brian, and Adam Greene. She is preceded in death by her parents. |
