Comstock, Scott Michael age 63, passed peacefully on January 28, 2014 in Minneapolis, MN. He was born to Ernest and Shirley Comstock on February 21, 1950. Scott was a skilled carpenter and craftsman. He was known for his quick, dry wit and his kindness to all. His passions in life included pheasant hunting, working on his cabin, and sharing family stories and pictures that made everyone either laugh or cringe. He loved to listen to and advise his younger relatives. Scott was an extraordinary person and loyal friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by siblings Jody, Steve and Julie; nieces Rachel and Michelle; nephews Connor and Michael; and great nephew, Aiden. In keeping with his character for supporting others, Scott donated his body to the University of Minnesota Medical School. Memorial donations may be made to the University of Minnesota School of Medicine Foundation, 200 Oak St. SE, Suite 500, Minneapolis, MN 55455. What will be a truly memorable memorial service is anticipated for some time later this year. We can happily say that Scott and his Mom have "gone fishin'." |
