| About | Maria lost her mom in Sept. of 2004. In Oct. of 2005 Maria learned she had small cell carcinoma--lung cancer. She had been living in Katy, TX, and working at what she loved best, a Cardiac Care Unit registered nurse. Spent her last months in Abbeville, LA, near her husband's family and passed away Oct. 17, 2006, with her father, sisters, children, husband and some friends at her bedside. |
