| About | Norma Jeanne Cardwell, 46, died Nov. 29, 1985, at Fairbury, Neb. She was born Oct 25, 1939, at Fairbury to William and Emma Kirby Bundy. She attended school in Fairbury, graduating with the class of 1959. She served in the Navy for two years. In April 1962 she married Jerry Eklund in Wymore, Neb., and to them was born one daughter. She later married Robert Cardwell and they lived in Alaska for about 10 years. She had living in Lincoln for several years. Preceding her in death was her father in 1960. Survivors include her daughter, Christine Eklund, and mother, Emma Bundy of Fairbury; sisters, Beulah, Mrs. Bob Bower of Steele City; brothers, Ted Lura of Hudson, Mass., and Jerry Bundy of Fairbury; nieces and nephews. Services were Dec. 2 at the Traum-Vance-Gerdes Chapel in Fairbury with the Rev. Dwight Ganzel officiating. Special music by Glenda Junker and Nine Lugenbeel. Cremation with remains to be interred at a later date. |
