About | Vivian L. Moerer was born May 4, 1941, at Fairbury, Neb., the daughter of Richard and Vivian Stufft Hopkins. She died Aug. 9, 1986 at the age of 45, as the result of an automobile accident, which also took the life of her daughter, Alyssa. Se was baptized April 12, 1953, at the Fairbury Church of the Nazarene. She was confirmed April 7, 1963, at the American Lutheran Church by Pastor Dale R Deames. She attended elementary school and high school in Fairbury and nursing school in Kansas City, Mo. On October 20, 1963, she was married to Marvin Moerer and to them were born five children. A love for children was evident by the child care which she operated out of her home. She also served as both Girl Scout and 4-H leader and was a member of the Parent Teacher Association. A member of the American Lutheran Church, she was also a member of American Lutheran Church Women. Others preceding her in death were her father Richard, son Richard, and daughter Alyssa. Survivors include her husband, Marvin, son, Russell, and daughter, Rhonda and Carissa, all of Fairbury; mother and stepfather, Vivian and Richard Lankford of Lincoln; brothers, Richard Hopkins of Pasadena, Calif., Robert Hoskins of Lincoln and Rod Hopkins of ……….. |
