Tillotson, 46, of Altoona, Iowa, formerly of Fremont, died Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Altoona. He was born May 17, 1962, in Kearney. His family moved to Fremont when he was 3 years of age. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1980 and attended Metropolitan Community College. He served six years in the Nebraska Army National Guard. He was an over-the-road truck driver for several years, then moved to Altoona seven years ago and worked first as the shop manager for a heavy equipment rental business and most recently as parts department manager for a Bobcat dealership. Survivors include: his parents, Larry and Dee Tillotson of Fremont; and a sister, Gay Tillotson of Kearney. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Fremont with the Rev. Ron Croom officiating. Closed casket visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and will continue one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. A memorial has been established to First United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be left at www.mosermemorialchapels.com.
