About | David H. Rodstein 39, died in Billings, Montana along with his wife, Monica and son, Andrew Julius "A.J". on Saturday, April 20, 1986. Mr. Rodstein was born on March 5, 1947 at Jamestown, Pa, the son of Joseph & Dorothy (Green) Rodstein. He received his education in Grand Island and was a 1965 graduate of Grand Island Senior High School. He received a degree in architetural engineering from the University of Nebraska. He worked for Safeway while attending high school. While in architectural school, he helped design rest stops along the interstate highway as part of a volunteer project. He was the assistand manager of the Safeway store in Omaha for a time and worked for Safeway as a store designer. Lately, he had worked for Ryan's Wholesale as an architectural engineer, designing and building retail stores. He married Monica Lukaszewski on October 29, 1966. They lived in Grand Island, Lincoln, Ralston, Grimes, Iowa and Billings, Montana. He was in the process of being transferred to Atlanta, Georgia at the time of his death. They were members of a traveling gourmet club. Survivors include a daughter, Amy, and his mother & father-in-law, Clarence & Eileen Lukaszewski of Grand Island. |
