About | Jerry L. Kincheloe, 68 of Sumner, NE formerly of Grand Island died Saturday, May 2, 2015 at his home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Kincheloe was born December 12, 1946 in Pomona, CA to Alfred & Dorothy (Ottman) Kincheloe. Survivors include his wife, Rennie; children, Lori Kincheloe of Herrin, Illnois; Greg Kincheloe of Malcolm, Ne, Sherry Davis of Grand Island, Tammy (Alex) Sayakhon of Ozark, Al and Mark Grettengerger of Grand Island; his mother, Dorothy Kincheloe of Grand Island; brother Gale (Wanda) kincheloe and sister Sherryl Kincheloe Noble of Grand Island and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father. Jerry was raised in Lexington and Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island Senior High School in 1965. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1972. He married Marlena Waldron in 1968. He was united in marriage to Rennie Priestley om 1990 They have lived at Sumner for the past 14 years. Jerry worked for Safeway, Grand Island Skagway North and retired as meat market Manager for Walmart in Kearney. He enjoyed woodworking, trains, especially old steam locomotives, old country music and polkas; his dogs but most of all spending time with family. |
