| About | John A. Spindler, 68 of Omaha died Wednesday, January 20, 2016. John was born February 8, 1947 to Dexter and Doris Spindler. John graduated from Grand Island Senior School in 1965. John was a good athlete in high school, holding records in the Half-Mile and Two-Mile Relays. After graduating, John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Kearney State in 1970 and was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. Johns wishes were to be cremated with no services, leaving his estate to the Humane Society. He is survived by brothers Dan and Joe and several nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his wife, Judy and parents, Dexter and Doris Spindler. |
