About | WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Ken Pichler, 58, of Westminster, Colo., died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006. There will be no services. Mr. Pichler was cremated. Mr. Pichler was born June 9, 1947, at Grand Island to Val and Fay Pichler. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Mary Pichler; a daughter, Christina Pichler of Arvada; a son, John Pichler of Westminster; his mother of Grand Island; a brother, Randy Pichler of Columbus; and a sister, Peggy Beer of Littleton, Colo. Ken graduated from Grand Island Senior High and received a BA from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He entered the United States Army in 1967, serving in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart in 1969. On Jan. 1, 1978, he was united in marriage to Mary Madsen. The couple lived in Westminster, Colo. He was employed by Samsonite Storage Technology, Adams County Government and Exempla Healthcare. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Val Pichler. |
