| About | Richard was born February 2, 1947 in Grand Island to Reinhardt and Dorcas Schuessler. He passed away September 8, 2018 in Lincoln. Richard was an avid Husker fan. He enjoyed attending baseball games, politics and NCIS. He was employed with Norland Pure for over 20 years. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Richard is survived by wife, Phyllis Schuessler; daughter Erin Schuessler; son, Jesse Schuessler; Grandson Zion Pearson; sister Ruth Ellen (Dave) Wurster; mother-in-law, Sophie Retzlaff; brothers and sisters-in law, Nola Cox, Jerry (LaDonna) Retzlaff; Janet (Gary) Unrein and many nieces and nephews. |
