| About | Graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1966. Entered the U.S. Army in 1967, serving during the Vietman War with the 11th Army Calvary Regiment. He received the Bronze Star, Silver Star and the Purple Heart Medal of Honor. He was medically discharged in 1969. Married Michell Fry. Survived by his wife, a son, Tyler smith and a daughter, Alaina Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents. |
