Quentin Allen died on his 97th birthday at home in Denver, Colorado. He had all his faculties until the end and was a wiz at jeopardy. He served with distinction in WWII as a bomber pilot. After the war he worked as a pilot and lived overseas for many years, mostly the Middle East. He was able to communicate in several languages, including Arabic, French and Vietnamese. He married American Barbara Cairo in Cairo, Egypt on March 7, 1964 and adopted her daughter Mona Jill in 1965. He led a full life and was admired by all that knew him and will be missed. |
