Marvin "Marv" Cottingham, of Lincoln, died Jan. 27, 2012. He worked in the Maintenance and Way Dept. for BNSF railroad for 34 years, retiring in 2006. He served as a member of the Nebraska National Guard for 20 years. He was also a very active member for over 20 years and officer of the F.O.E. #147, Sons of the American Legion and the Brotherhood of Maintenance and Way Union. He was survived by his wife Lee, a step-son, 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Burial was with military rites at Wyuka Cemetery. |
