| About | Dan L. Garrett, age 58 of North Platte passed away January 22, 2008 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center . He was born July 23, 1949 in Mullen to Eugene and Joan Garrett. He graduated from Mullen High School in 1967. On June 1, 1970, he graduated from Mid-Plains Vocational Tech College . He served in the Army. He was a dedicated self-employed carpenter and a member of the Platte River Sportsman Club. He loved his fishing, hunting and target shooting and enjoyed spending time with friends and relatives. He is survived by his wife, Pat; a son, Stephen; a sister, Becky (Gary) Anders; an aunt, Gladys Maseburg; nephew, David (Debra) Anders and their children, Lauren and Blake; a niece, Trisha ( ) Sarver and their daughter, Avah; and numerous other relatives. A memorial has been established. The body was cremated as Dan requested. Burial will be at a later date in the Garrett Family Cemetery plot in Cedarview Cemetery in Mullen. Registry book signing is from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. today at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home. |
