| About | Tim C. Isom passed unexpectedly at his home on July 22, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of hard work, love and devotion to his family. Born on January 27, 1952, in Cedar City, Utah to Turman 'Tim' and Patricia Isom, Tim spent his childhood throughout Nevada as his father helped build Interstate 80 across the state. The family eventually settled in Sparks, Nevada, where Tim graduated from Sparks High School with the class of 1970. He began his career as a mechanic in Elko and Reno before joining the Operating Engineers Union apprenticeship program, where he proudly earned his journeyman status. He spent many years operating heavy equipment, building roads and infrastructures with pride and dedication until his retirement in 2010. While Tim took great pride in his career, nothing meant more to him than his family. He shared 23 wonderful years of marriage to his wife, Tami Cutler Isom. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter and countless adventures. Whether they were hunting, camping, fishing, tending their garden, or simply enjoying outdoors together, Tim treasured every moment spent by her side. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, sharing stories and creating lasting memories with those he loved the most. Tim was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tami Isom; his daughters, Shawna Isom and Jessie Isom; his son-in-law, Lincoln Hemphill; his granddaughters; Kyla Hardesty and Lainey Hemphill; his sister, Susan Isom Sloan and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
